Thunder celebrates three decades of music with the release of this 28-track album simply titled "The Greatest Hits". After a thirty year career, it's time to look back at what has been achieved, to take stock of the results, but also to keep an eye on the horizon and what is yet to come. The Greatest Hits is a cohesive and comprehensive collection that includes material from every album since Backstreet Symphony's debut, which catapulted them onto the world stage and to number 21 in the UK charts. This first salvo was followed by Laughing On Judgement Day, which reached number two in the UK LPch chart in 1992, and then Behind Closed Doors, which reached the Top 5 in 1995. Greatest Hits includes material up to 2017's Rip It Up, which reached No. 3 in the chart, and 2019's Please Remain Seated. Indeed, the last three albums Thunder Wonder Days, Rip It Up and Please Remain Seated have all reached the top ten of the UK album chart. The tracks selected for The Greatest Hits perfectly demonstrate the evolutionary arc that the band has taken over three decades, challenging and constantly evolving: without ever losing the essential elements that make Thunder Thunder.
