Vandenberg's MoonKings is a Dutch rock band formed in 2013 by guitarist Adrian Vandenberg, who is best known for his tenure with the hard rock band Whitesnake during their successful late 1980s period. Vandenberg's MoonKings marks Adrian's return to the music scene after a lengthy hiatus, showcasing his talent as a guitarist and songwriter. The band released their self-titled debut album "Vandenberg's MoonKings" in 2014, which was well-received for its classic rock sound infused with bluesy undertones. They followed up with their second studio album "MK II" in 2017, continuing their approach of blending powerful riffs with melodic vocals. In 2018, they took a more acoustic direction with the release of "Rugged And Unplugged," an album that stripped down some of their songs to an acoustic format, highlighting Vandenberg's guitar work and the raw vocal performances. The band has been praised for their energetic live shows and for bringing Adrian Vandenberg's signature guitar style back to the forefront of rock music.
