Rhino celebrates the eagerly anticipated resurrection of David Lynch's Twin Peaks series with a re-release of the iconic soundtrack to the old 1990/1991 series and subsequent film Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me. The two soundtracks, Soundtrack From Twin Peaks and Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me, will be released separately on 180g heavyweight vinyl just before the start of the new season. For the 1990 soundtrack, Lynch enlisted composer Angelo Badalamenti, with whom he had collaborated on Blue Velvet (1986). Lynch and Badalamenti created the soundtrack together, with Lynch writing the lyrics to three songs: The Nightingale, Into The Night and the title track Falling. A year after the release of the Twin Peaks soundtrack, the album won a Grammy Award for Best Pop Instrumental Performance.
