Maggot Heart is a band led by Swedish guitarist and vocalist Linnéa Olsson, formerly of the bands Beastmilk and Grave Pleasures. The project is known for its blend of punk, metal, and hard rock influences, with a raw and direct sound that has garnered attention in the underground rock scene. Maggot Heart's music often features themes of urban decay, personal struggle, and existential angst, delivered with a gritty and unpolished aesthetic. Since its formation, Maggot Heart has released several works including the albums "Mercy Machine" and a split release with Okkultokrati. The band has built a reputation for their intense live performances and has been part of various tours and festivals, contributing to their growing following within the alternative music community.
