He sold over 250 million albums and over 100 million singles, making him one of the most successful artists of all time. Elton John has won five Grammy Awards and an Academy Award. In 2004, Rolling Stone magazine ranked him 49th on its list of the 100 Greatest Artists of All Time. In 1994, John was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The book The Many Faces of Elton John provides a deep insight into his legendary career. The compilation includes collaborations, early and rare songs, production work for others, as well as a full-length concert with all the big hits.
