Trumpeter Alison Balsom, flutist Emmanuel Pahud, pianists Yundi and Alexandre Tharaud, violinist Vilde Frang and cellist Mario Brunello are a diverse group of concert soloists. Martha Argerich and Renaud Capuçon and one of today's finest string quartets, the Artemis Quartet, present cutting-edge chamber music. A number of masters are represented, from the current stars on the podium to the greats whose historic recordings are still very successful: alongside Simon Rattle and "his" Berlin Philharmonic, Vasily Petrenko and Otto Klemperer are thus represented.
