The legendary "New Gold Dream" remastered in 2016 More than 30 years ago, Scottish rock band Simple Minds' fifth studio album, "New Gold Dream", was a milestone in the band's career in many ways. Most notably, it was the first album with which the band managed to conquer the Top 10. Now, in 2016, the band presents a remastered version of the album, personally signed by guitarist Charlie Burchill. Mastering was handled by Andrew Walter at Abbey Road studios in London.
