Unusual times In June 2020, Nick Cave played a solo concert at London's famous Alexandra Palace completely without an audience. A little over a month later, on 23 July, the performance could be seen on stream, but only at a fixed time. Then it was over, just like a real concert. To the delight of his fans, however, a concert album is now available: 'Idiot Prayer: Nick Cave Alone At Alexandra Palace'. It was a very special atmosphere: just Nick Cave, his piano and a number of songs that the Australian musician interpreted in a completely new, reduced form, including songs from the 2019 album "Ghosteen", songs by Bad Seeds and Grinderman. All captured by cinematographer Robbie Ryan ("Marriage Story," "American Honey") and his team.
