All remixes on one album With "Be a Rebel", New Order 2020 released their first new song in five years. The song, which comes from 2015's "Music Complete" album, was released last November with three additional remixes. Now in 2021, the English new wave and post-punk heroes are presenting a reissue that goes much further: a small "Be A Rebel Remixed" sampler collects for the first time all the official versions of the song on physical formats, including some previously unreleased remixes, new reworkings that have been released digitally, and more. Included are brand new remixes from Arthur Baker, JakoJako, Mark Reeder and Melawati. There are also mixes by Bernard Sumner and Stephen Morris and club mixes by Maceo Plex and Paul Woolford. The single on CD contains a total of 13 tracks, while the double LP on clear vinyl offers eight. The full track listing for "Be A Rebel Remixed" can be found below. New Order was formed in 1980 by singer and guitarist Bernard Sumner, bassist Peter Hook and drummer Stephen Morris. The English band was formed from Joy Division after the suicide of lead singer Ian Curtis. Their own musical style, combining post-punk with electronic and dance music, made them one of the most famous and influential bands of the 1980s. They have released ten studio albums to date. Their last album "Music Complete" was released in 2015 and reached number two in the UK charts.
