The album "Sol Invictus" was produced by Bill Gould and recorded in their own studios in Oakland. Faith No More are considered one of the most influential rock bands of their generation. Krist Novoselic of Nirvana calls Faith No More the most important pioneers of Nirvana, and bands like Metallica and Anthrax have named Faith No More as their favorite band in various interviews. Faith No More's last three albums have been in the top ten of the German Media Control chart.
