Alice Cooper and his legendary band (Michael Bruce - guitar/keyboards, Glen Buxton - solo guitar, Neal Smith - drums and Dennis Dunaway - bass) recorded one of the greatest hard rock albums of all time with producer Bob Ezrin.

With hard rock hits like the hit single "School's Out" and fantastic tracks from the LP like "My Stars" "Blue Turk" and "Public Animal #9", it's easy to see why this album climbed to the top of the sales and radio charts.

Even more masterful tracks like "Luney Tune" and the theatrical "Grand Finale" make this album one of the most enduring in Alice Cooper's amazing catalog of hits.

"School's Out" (Deluxe Edition) begins with a remastered version of the 1972 original, which reached No. 2 on the album chart. Essential tracks such as "Luney Tune" and "Alma Mater" are joined by "Gutter Cat vs. the Jets". The latter is a tribute to West Side Story, which was a major influence on the band. The song contains the lyrics to "Jet Song" from the 1957 musical, which led to the unlikely songwriting credit of Leonard Bernstein and Stephen Sondheim to Alice Cooper.

The deluxe edition includes rarities such as the single versions of "School's Out" and "Gutter Cat vs. The Jets". Also included are two previously unreleased tracks, an alternate version of "Alma Mater" and an early demo recording of "Elected", which appeared on the band's first album Billion Dollar Babies, which reached number one in 1973.

Alice Cooper's concert in Miami on May 27, 1972 adds even more unreleased music to the collection. The performance was recorded a few weeks before the studio sessions for the album School's Out. The live performance includes excellent versions of "Halo Of Flies," "School's Out" and "Yeah, Yeah, Yeah," a song that showcased Cooper's impressive harmonica playing skills.
