SR International

German club label; name derived from Schallplattenring International. Label Code: LC 4244 / LC 04244 Label of the Bertelsmann Schallplattenring and Bertelsmann Club. It was introduced in 1964 and replaced "club exclusive" releases which were labeled with the "b" logo from Bertelsmann Schallplattenring up until then. The releases were usually pressed by Sonopress. Most popular for their "Hitbreaker" series which comes each three months (four issues per year) Subsidiary/part of Bertelsmann Club organization.
