Vladimír Padrůněk was a Czech bass guitarist, known for his innovative playing style and as a member of the progressive rock band Jazz Q. Led by keyboardist Martin Kratochvíl, Jazz Q was active primarily in the 1970s and early 1980s, contributing significantly to the Czechoslovak jazz-rock scene. Padrůněk's musicianship was well-regarded, and he played a key role in the band's sound and compositions. Unfortunately, his career was cut short; he passed away at a young age, leaving behind a legacy as one of the pioneering bass players in Czechoslovak music. His contributions to Jazz Q and other projects remain influential to musicians within the Czech Republic and beyond.
