Experimental Electronic Musician

Tobacco is the stage name of Thomas Fec, an American electronic musician hailing from Allegheny County, Pennsylvania. He is known for his work as the frontman of the psychedelic synthpop band Black Moth Super Rainbow, as well as for his solo work. Tobacco's music is characterized by its use of analog electronic instruments, including synthesizers and tape machines, and a heavy use of effects to create his distinctive lo-fi sound. His solo career began in 2008 with the release of his debut album "Fucked Up Friends," which was followed by several more albums showcasing his unique blend of psychedelic and electronic music. Tobacco has collaborated with various artists and has also ventured into hip-hop territory with the project Malibu Ken, alongside rapper Aesop Rock. His work has been noted for its experimental edge and has garnered a following among fans of underground electronic music.
