Pittsburgh Indie Rock Band

The Gotobeds are a post-punk band hailing from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. They formed in 2009 and have been known for their energetic and often irreverent approach to music, drawing comparisons to the likes of The Fall and Wire. Their sound is characterized by sharp guitar riffs, catchy hooks, and a sense of humor that permeates their lyrics and stage presence. The band's debut album, "Poor People Are Revolting," was released in 2014 on the label 12XU and garnered attention for its raw sound and witty songwriting. They followed up with "Blood // Sugar // Secs // Traffic" in 2016 under Sub Pop Records, which further established their reputation in the indie rock scene. In 2019, they released "Debt Begins At 30," an album that featured collaborations with various artists and showcased a more experimental side of the band. The Gotobeds have continued to build their profile through energetic live shows and a dedicated fan base within the indie rock community.
