The Birds

British rock band

The Birds were a rhythm and blues band from London, England, that formed in the mid-1960s. Not to be confused with the American band The Byrds, The Birds were known for their raw energy and aggressive sound which was characteristic of the mod subculture and R&B scene of that time. The group's most notable member was Ronnie Wood, who later achieved fame as a member of the Rolling Stones. Despite their potential and a following within the mod scene, The Birds never achieved significant commercial success during their active years. They released a few singles, such as "Leaving Here" and "No Good Without You Baby," but they did not produce a full album or achieve chart success before they disbanded. After their breakup, the members went on to various other projects, with Ronnie Wood's career being the most prominent.
