Sword is a Canadian heavy metal band that was formed in the early 1980s. They gained recognition with their debut album "Metalized" in 1986, which showcased their classic heavy metal sound and earned them a following among fans of the genre. The band's music is characterized by powerful vocals, sharp guitar riffs, and solid rhythm sections. Following the success of "Metalized," Sword released "Sweet Dreams" in 1988, which continued to build their reputation and fanbase. Despite their early success and the strong foundation they built within the metal community, Sword disbanded in the early 1990s.
