American Thrash Metal Band

Sadus is an American thrash metal band that was formed in 1984 in Antioch, California. The band is known for its highly technical style of thrash metal, and they are often credited as one of the early progenitors of the technical death metal subgenre. The founding members include bassist/vocalist Steve DiGiorgio, guitarist Rob Moore, drummer Jon Allen, and guitarist/vocalist Darren Travis. Sadus gained attention in the underground metal scene with their first album "Illusions" (also known as "Chemical Exposure") in 1988. They followed up with "Swallowed in Black" in 1990 and "A Vision of Misery" in 1992, both of which showcased the band's complex musicianship and aggressive speed.
