British alternative rock band

Queenadreena was an English alternative rock band that formed in London in 1999. The group was fronted by vocalist KatieJane Garside and guitarist Crispin Gray, who had previously collaborated in the band Daisy Chainsaw. Queenadreena's music was known for its raw, intense energy and Garside's distinctive vocal style, which ranged from ethereal whispers to ferocious screams. Throughout their career, they released several albums, including "Taxidermy" (2000), "Drink Me" (2002), "The Butcher And The Butterfly" (2005), and "Djin" (2008). Their sound was characterized by a blend of punk, metal, and avant-garde influences. Despite a cult following and critical acclaim for their powerful live performances and innovative music, Queenadreena never achieved widespread commercial success. The band underwent several lineup changes over the years before eventually disbanding.
