Polar Bear is a British jazz band led by drummer and composer Seb Rochford. Formed in the early 2000s, the group is known for its eclectic blend of jazz with elements of rock, electronica, and experimental music. Polar Bear has been a significant presence in the UK's progressive jazz scene, earning critical acclaim for their innovative approach to composition and performance. Over the years, they have released several albums that showcase their evolving sound, including "Peepers" (2010), "In Each And Every One" (2014), and "Same As You" (2015). The band has been nominated for the Mercury Prize twice, first for their 2005 album "Held on the Tips of Fingers" and later for "In Each And Every One."
