Orchestra of the Swan (OOTS) is a British chamber orchestra founded in 1995 and based in Stratford-upon-Avon. Under the artistic direction of David Curtis until 2018, and currently led by Artistic Director David Le Page, the ensemble has gained a reputation for its innovative programming and engagement with audiences. The orchestra often explores both classical and contemporary repertoire, and has a strong commitment to new works, having commissioned over 70 pieces. OOTS performs regularly at its home venue, the Stratford Playhouse, as well as other venues across the country and internationally. They have an extensive discography that includes works by composers such as Mozart, Vaughan Williams, and Elgar, showcasing their versatility and dedication to a wide range of music. Their recordings have been well-received for their fresh interpretations and high-quality performances.
