Monica Huggett is a renowned British violinist and conductor, particularly noted for her expertise in the field of baroque music. Born on May 16, 1953, she has established herself as a leading figure in the early music movement. Huggett co-founded the Amsterdam Baroque Orchestra with Ton Koopman and was a leader of The English Concert. She has served as the artistic director for the Portland Baroque Orchestra and the Irish Baroque Orchestra, among other ensembles.
