Jody Grind

British Progressive Rock Band

Jody Grind was a British progressive rock band that formed in the late 1960s. The group was known for its blend of jazz, blues, and rock influences, which they incorporated into their music to create a distinctive sound within the burgeoning progressive rock scene. The band's lineup consisted of Tim Hinkley on keyboards and vocals, Ivan Zagni on guitar, Barry Wilson on drums, and later, Bernie Holland also on guitar. They released their debut album "One Step On" in 1969, which showcased their experimental approach to music and complex arrangements. Despite their innovative sound and the critical acclaim they received, Jody Grind struggled to achieve commercial success. The band released a second album titled "Far Canal" in 1970 before disbanding shortly thereafter. Their brief existence and limited discography have since garnered them a cult following among fans of the progressive rock genre.
