Rising Jazz-Influenced Vocalist and Americas Got Talent Finalist

Jimmie Herrod is a Pacific Northwest-based artist and performer, holding a Bachelor of Music degree in music composition and performance from Cornish, and a Master of Music in jazz studies from Portland State University. While he currently serves as an adjunct professor of jazz voice, he remains an active performer, both as soloist and collaborator. Jimmie has worked in Seattle’s prided musical theater scene at ArtsWest (‘15 and ‘17) and the 5th Avenue Theater (‘12 and ‘13). Some recent highlights include being a featured soloist in the Oregon Symphony’s showcase in the 2018 TedEx series, working with international acts, such as ODESZA, as well as being a reoccurring guest with Pink Martini, touring the USA, Canada, and Europe.
