Colombian Black Metal Duo

Inquisition is a black metal band that was formed in Cali, Colombia in 1988. Initially starting as a thrash metal band, they evolved into their distinctive style of black metal after the founder Dagon moved to the United States and the band re-established itself in Seattle, Washington. The band is known for its raw production, tremolo-picked guitar riffs, and Dagon's unique croaking vocal style. Over the years, Inquisition has become a prominent name within the underground metal scene, gaining a reputation for their intense and atmospheric live performances as well as their lyrical themes that often explore occultism, darkness, and cosmic mysticism.
