Norwegian Classical Pianist

Eva Knardahl (1927–2006) was a Norwegian classical pianist renowned for her interpretations of Edvard Grieg's piano music. She began her career as a child prodigy, performing with the Oslo Philharmonic Orchestra when she was just ten years old. After studying at the Oslo Conservatory of Music, she moved to the United States in 1947, where she worked as a concert pianist and accompanist. In 1967, Knardahl returned to Norway and became the principal pianist for the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation's orchestra.
