Swedish Death Metal Band

Cut Up was a Swedish death metal band formed in 2014 by former members of the band Vomitory, which disbanded in 2013. The lineup consisted of guitarists Anders Bertilsson and Andreas Björnson, bassist/vocalist Erik Rundqvist, and drummer Tobias Gustafsson. Cut Up is known for their aggressive style, blending old-school death metal with modern brutality. They released their debut album "Forensic Nightmares" in 2015 through Metal Blade Records, which was well-received for its intense riffing and technical proficiency. The band followed up with their second album "Wherever They May Rot" in 2017, continuing to showcase their relentless speed and ferocity. Despite the positive reception of their work within the death metal community, Cut Up disbanded in 2019, leaving behind a brief but impactful legacy within the genre.
