Carnage

Carnage was a Swedish death metal band that was active in the early 1990s. The band was formed by guitarist Michael Amott and vocalist Johan Liiva, who would both later become members of the influential metal band Arch Enemy. Carnage released only one full-length album, "Dark Recollections," in 1990 before disbanding. This album is considered a classic in the Swedish death metal scene and has influenced many bands within the genre. After the dissolution of Carnage, Michael Amott went on to join another seminal death metal band, Carcass, and eventually formed Arch Enemy, which achieved significant success in the metal world.
