Bullet For My Valentine, often abbreviated as BFMV, is a Welsh heavy metal band that formed in 1998. Originally starting out under the name Jeff Killed John, the band underwent a change in musical direction and name before releasing their first EP, "Hand of Blood," in 2005. They quickly gained popularity with their debut album "The Poison" in 2005, which received critical acclaim and established them within the metalcore scene. The band consists of Matthew Tuck (lead vocals, rhythm guitar), Michael Paget (lead guitar, backing vocals), Jason Bowld (drums), and Jamie Mathias (bass guitar). Former members include Michael Thomas (drums) and Nick Crandle (bass).
