Agathodaimon is a German black metal band with gothic and symphonic influences, originally formed in 1995. The band was founded by guitarist Sathonys and drummer Matthias Rodig. Throughout their career, they have undergone several lineup changes but have consistently been led by Sathonys. Agathodaimon has released several albums that have contributed to their standing in the metal community, including "Serpent's Embrace" which came out in 2004. This album showcased the band's ability to blend melodic elements with the harshness of black metal, receiving positive reviews from fans and critics alike.
