"Ready An' Willing" brought WHITESNAKE its first taste of great success. Establishing themselves as potential hitmakers alongside bands like Thin Lizzy, but retaining credibility with rock fans thanks to their distinctive and unique sound, when "Ready An' Willing" reached number six in the UK charts, David Coverdale remarked with white-knuckled anticipation: "This is exactly what we need to make Whitesnake a world-class band." The subsequent successful tour, followed by the classic live record 'Live...In The Heart Of The City', was to confirm this. But that's another story... On the remastered version of "Ready An' Willing", CD 4 features for the first time the 1979 Reading Festival concert recording.
