Well, that fits perfectly! Just in time for the 10th anniversary of the publishing house, the 100th edition is coming out. It goes without saying that this edition will contain everything Aus has to offer. "Aus 100" features new and exclusive tracks on three CDs from members of the Bicep family, Midland, Huxley, Deetron, Nick Hoppner, Pearson Sound, Youandewan, Marquis Hawkes, Gerd, Sei A, Bwana, Fold, Shenoda, Appleblim and Komon. The spectacle is completed by a mix from the boss himself, Will Saul. In 2006 he set up the Aus label as a sublabel of Simple to get the music of his two friends Fink and Lee Jones out to the party people. The whole thing quickly took on a momentum of its own. Although Aus have never been one of the house labels with a specific trademark sound, thanks to their notorious bass orientation, there has been at least a hint of a unifying thread to 99 releases to date. As a result, we've seen top tracks from established artists as well as first efforts from newcomers like Joy Orbison, Dusky, Midland and George Fitzgerald, who are now dancefloor stars in their own right. Let's take a look at the next 10 years.
