But what was life like for ordinary people at that time, what drove them, what did they long for, what did they suffer and what did they rejoice in? The Lautten Compagney, together with the Leipzig-based Calmus Ensemble, will take the audience on a journey through the various manifestations of life in the late Middle Ages. Mitten im Leben is the title of the result of this research journey - an extremely varied production for the Lutheran Year 2017.
