Rhino's latest new songs feature a very special live Grateful Dead album in 2019. "Ready Or Not" collects previously unreleased live tracks from the early to mid-'90s. Recall that the rock legends' last studio album was released in 1989 and was called "Built to Last". In February 1992, the Grateful Dead began recording a new studio album. However, this album was never completed and the band broke up after the death of Jerry Garcia in 1995. Most likely, the unfinished studio album would have contained the songs that appeared on "Ready Or Not". The band's archivist David Lemieux prepared a nine-song long player with live recordings by the then current lineup: singer and guitarist Jerry Garcia, drummer Mickey Hart, drummer Bill Kreutzmann, bassist Phil Lesh, singer and guitarist Bob Weir, and keyboardist Vince Welnick. Highlights of "Ready Or Not" include the Garcia Robert-Hunter track "Days Between," the Bob Weir collaboration with Rob Wasserman and blues icon Willie Dixon "Eternity," and two Weir and Hunter songs, "Corinna" and "Easy Answers." The latest new songs from the legends, an exciting live Grateful Dead collection: here's "Ready Or Not."
