A quarter of a century has passed since Rage, one of Germany's most consistent international metal bands, released their first album "Black In Mind", which is considered a cult record by fans and critics alike. At the time, the band around leader Peter "Peavy" Wagner, otherwise known as a trio, performed with a classic four-piece line-up: Mastermind Peavy (vocals, bass) with Sven Fischer (guitar) and a pair of brothers, Spiros (guitar) and Chris Efthimiadis (drums), had a line-up at the start that left no eye dry in the studio and live. To mark the 25th anniversary of this Rage musical milestone, for which the highest prices are being demanded in collectors' circles, the Peavy frontman is re-releasing "Black In Mind" on his own Dr. Bones label. As a special thank you to fans, "Black In Mind" not only includes the track "Chase", which was previously only released in Japan, but this reissue also includes a complete ten-song bonus CD that includes three tracks (two original songs and a cover version of Spandau Ballet's "Through The Barricades") that never made it onto the album at the time, in addition to demo versions of seven songs from the album. A must-have for fans and those who want to become fans!
