In 2000, the album Infest ( Papa Roach ) was released and was a great success. The album reached number six on the Billboard 200 chart and was certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America. The album's lead single, "Last Resort", reached number one on the Billboard Modern Rock Tracks chart and was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Hard Rock Performance. Other singles from the album, "Broken Home" and "Between Angels and Insects", also reached number one on the Modern Rock Tracks chart. The album Infest was praised by music critics and is considered a classic of the nu metal genre.
