(In January 2007 he will make his first guest appearance in the Czech Philharmonic subscription series in Prague.) He is being talked about as a life-giving torrent that will revive the Europe-USA cycle in this field. The fact that Dudamel, in his debut with DG, is not conducting an established, well-known orchestra, but an unknown ensemble of young people from his native country, which he has trained, is considered by critics to be very beneficial.
