The album, simply named Lindsey Stirling, has sold more than 600,000 copies, and the American violinist, singer, songwriter and even dancer has become a major star thanks to her unique blend of classical violin playing and thumping beats. Now Stirling is back with a new album...Lindsey Stirling has named the record Shatter Me and included twelve songs. As the writer of all the songs herself states, the new album is much more progressive than her debut and more melodic as well. In addition to her stunning violin playing, Sterling continues to dabble in electronic music and dubstep, which is still very much in vogue. Unlike her debut, however, she didn't rely solely on musical instruments, and so the album also features several vocal tracks...The first single taster from the album was the dreamy Beyond The Veil, which was very warmly received by fans.
