In March 2015, Europe will release its tenth studio album worldwide. War Of Kings was recorded at the brand new Pan Gaia studio in Stockholm, Sweden. The Swedish classic rockers secured Dave Cobb (Rival Sons) as producer and John Netti took over as engineer. The eleven tracks prove once again that Europe has an excellent feel for creating punchy classic rock songs with monster melodies. The album will be released in various formats in March. Vocalist Joey Tempest says, "War Of Kings is the album we always wanted to make when we were kids listening to bands like Zeppelin, Purple and Sabbath." Europe took the place of the platinum-selling classic rock legends very early in their career. With the 1986 album and its hit single The Final Countdown, the Swedish five-piece's career practically exploded until the band's breakup in 1992. With founding member John Norum on guitar, the Swedes returned to the limelight in 2004 and regained their former power with their classic rock-inspired blues. 2012's Bag Of Bones bolstered their reputation as rock legends and re-entered the international charts. With War Of Kings, Europe will once again grab the world's attention and thrill their fans with a rock statement as strong as an ox. Joey adds: "Hey! We took the longer route! But we wanted to put Europe back on the right track. It took ten years and countless tours, but we finally went our own way and reached our destination."
