Kamikaze is the tenth studio album by American rapper Eminem, which was released without any announcement on August 31, 2018. The album features guest contributions from Joyner Lucas, Royce da 5'9", Jessie Reyez and Justin Vernon. The album's executive producers are Dr. Dre and Eminem (performing as "Slim Shady"). The entire album cover depicts a scene of a North American F-86 Sabre fighter jet crash piloted by LT. Mathers III. The cover caricature is a cover of the Beastie Boys' Licensed to III (1986), which has been a longtime inspiration for Eminem. Kamikaze was received rather positively by critics, unlike 2017's Revival, which critics disliked for its cheesy pop-ness.
