Def Leppard 's Hysteria was their fourth studio album released on August 3, 1987. The album was produced by Robert John "Mutt" Lange and became the band's most successful album, selling over 20 million copies worldwide. Seven singles were released from the album, including the hits "Pour Some Sugar on Me", "Animal", "Hysteria" and "Armageddon It". The album was certified Diamond by the RIAA in August 1992 and has been certified Platinum 12 times in the United States.
