The brilliant new release was mixed by Tue Madsen (Himsa, The Haunted) and combines all the elements that have always defined the band: Deep lyrics, massive and refined guitar work, haunting melodies and aggressive brutality. The new album could be described as a modern take on the classic albums "The Gallery" and "The Mind's I", but one that surprises with an increased intensity and represents a new definition of melodic death metal!DARK TRANQUILLITY still holds an exceptional position in the metal scene today, as they were co-founders of a completely new death metal genre in the early 90's, commonly referred to as "Gothenburg Sound".
