The album contains 35 rare and previously unreleased recordings, most of which were made as demos or alternate takes during the making of "Self Portrait" and "New Morning". A double-CD or 4-CD box set, "The Bootleg Series Vol. 10 - Another Self Portrait (1969-1971)," will be released in late August, showcasing one of Dylan's most controversial stages from a previously unknown side. The album contains 35 rare and previously unreleased recordings, most of which were made as demos or alternate takes during the making of "Self Portrait" and "New Morning". "Another Self Portrait (1969-1971)" includes an unknown version of "Only A Hobo", a demo of "When I Paint My Masterpiece", cover versions of songs by Tom Paxton and Eric Andersen, and several rarities of traditional folk songs. As with "Self Portrait", Dylan designed the cover himself. "Another Self Portrait (1969-1971)" contains an unknown version of "Only A Hobo", a demo of "When I Paint My Masterpiece", cover versions of songs by Tom Paxton and Eric Andersen, and several rare traditional folk songs. As with "Self Portrait", Dylan designed the cover himself. The album is available both on a standard double CD and in a deluxe 4-CD box set (which for the first time includes the complete recording of Bob Dylan & The Band's concert on the Isle Of Wight in August 1969). The deluxe edition also includes a newly remastered version of "Self Portrait" and two hardcover books with liner notes by Greil Marcus.
