Miro Žbirka recapitulates his more than forty years of success on the music scene. The result is a selection album THE BEST OF MIRO ŽBIRKA and MIRO ŽBIRKA SONGBOOK. Both extraordinary releases will be released on 4 September by Universal Music.

The representative book MIRO ŽBIRKA SONGBOOK charts the career of Miró ŽBIRKA through 180 lyrics of his songs, each of which is additionally accompanied by chord markers. The song lyrics are arranged chronologically on 224 pages, always according to the album from which they come - from Balada o poľných vtákoch to the new song Slovenská from the film Perinbaba and Two Worlds. Each album in the series is accompanied by an authentic story of its creation, written by renowned journalist Václav Hnátek, based on Meky's narration. Autograph signings of the remarkable publication are planned in Prague and Bratislava during September.

The album THE BEST OF MIRO ŽBIRKA and MIRO ŽBIRKA SONGBOOK will be on sale, among others, at the exclusive MEKY: CINEMA ACOUSTIC TOUR 2020. In selected CineStar cinemas, after the screening of the documentary by director Šimon Šafránek, Meky will present its main protagonist "live" - together with his band, they will play a special acoustic set for the audience: on 15 September at CineStar Ostrava, 16 September at CineStar Olomouc, 23 September at CineStar Liberec, 29 September and 30 September at CineStar Praha Anděl.
