About The Analog Vault and TAV Records: Since its’ founding in 2015, The Analog Vault has sealed its reputation as one of the go-to record stores for jazz, hip hop, electronic and audiophile vinyl records in Singapore and the region. The team behind The Analog Vault are ardent champions of analog music culture, and strongly believe that listening to music on vinyl via an analog sound system is one of the best ways to enjoy good music. The Analog Vault aims to grow to be one of Asia’s leading proponents of analog music culture and fine music. In 2019, The Analog Vault marked its foray as an independent record label with the establishment of TAV Records. TAV Records aims to provide a platform for local and regional artists to explore the vinyl format as a medium for their musical releases. The goal of TAV Records is to encourage more artists to harness the vinyl record as a medium to express their musical creativity and to connect to their audience – by emphasizing high quality analog sound and tangible artwork – aspects afforded only by the vinyl medium. While not genre limited, TAV Records aims to focus on releases showcasing emerging and progressive sounds by Asian artists rooted in the musical styles of jazz, hip hop, soul, or electronic.
