GM Records (3)

GM Records was established by Mr Marek Grela and operated between 01 June 1990 and 16 August 2017. Originally a pirate cassette label and duplicator, GM Records later branched into CD and DVD replication. Related services were also offered and included the usual authoring, premastering and mastering services. They commenced pressing vinyl records in December 2015. Effective 17 August 2017, GM Records was sold and the plant continues to operate as wmfono. CD identification: The matrix number scheme is dd######mm, where dd is the date of the glass mastering day (01 - 31), ###### is a 6 digit matrix number (where # can be 0 to 9 - started with 000 001) mm identifies the glass mastering month (01 - 12). Example: 0408331504 was glass mastered on 04 April; 1908353809 on 19 September. Note: The year cannot be derived from the matrix number. When trying to credit the correct name of this plant on 2017 releases, the dd and mm glass mastering date in the matrix number can help direct you - any date before 17/08 belongs to GM Records (3); any date after that day belongs to wmfono.
