Grammy-Winning Mother-Daughter Country Duo

The Judds were a highly successful American country music duo composed of Naomi Judd and her daughter, Wynonna Judd. Active from 1983 to 1991, and reuniting briefly in later years, they became one of the most popular country acts of the 1980s and early 1990s. Their music was known for its blend of traditional country harmonies and contemporary sounds. The Judds released several albums during their career, scoring numerous hit singles on the Billboard Country charts. They won five Grammy Awards and a multitude of Country Music Association (CMA) awards, solidifying their status as one of the genre's most acclaimed acts. Their songs often centered around themes of love, family, and personal empowerment. After disbanding due to Naomi's health issues in the early '90s, Wynonna pursued a successful solo career.
