This version of the turntable from Austrian manufacturer Pro-Ject features a vibration- and resonance-resistant platter madeMDF material, which is powered by a combination of a silicone strap and a new, very quiet synchronous motor.
The chassis of the instrument is made of lightweight but very strong high density particleboard.
The 8.6" long arm, made of lightweight aluminium and fitted with an ORTOFON NN transmission with elliptical tip, offers a much friendlier "plug & play" approach. The special bases then significantly eliminate vibrations from the surroundings.
