The Labrador 422 MKII is equipped with an excellent 12" Peerless woofer, directed towards the ground. It is mounted on 4 adjustable steel horns and features a high power amplifier120 watts, an automatic cut-off system and adjustable frequency and sensitivity settings.

No full-featured home cinema system can do without an honest subwoofer.The Labrador AQ 422 MKIII will always be the right choice and rightly bears the Heavy Duty label - for heavy duty work. Already its weight and dimensions show that it has the basic prerequisites for heavy work. Add to that a 12" Peerless SLS loudspeaker with honeycomb diaphragm, high sensitivity and, at ours developed Class AB amplifier with a new version of analogue processing in the active turnout. The amplifier is powered by a massive toroidal transformer. The speaker and bassreflex radiate to the floor.

To ensure that the bassreflex is tuned to the lowest frequencies, the sound pipe is 80 cm long, almost twice the size of the soundboard. Here we have used our own labyrinthine folded bassreflex design, where the bassreflex ducting is also part of the cabinet's massive bracing.

Theentire subwoofer soundboard is mounted on four adjustable steel prongs that provide a defined diaphragm gap above the floor and a dense, solid and undistorted bass that won't annoy the neighbours with its rumble.
