Wolfmother is an Australian rock band formed in Sydney in 2004. The group is known for its classic rock revivalist sound, drawing inspiration from iconic bands like Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, and Deep Purple. The original lineup consisted of Andrew Stockdale on vocals and guitar, Chris Ross on bass and keyboard, and Myles Heskett on drums. They gained international acclaim with their self-titled debut album "Wolfmother," released in 2005, which won the 2007 Grammy Award for Best Hard Rock Performance for the track "Woman." Following the success of their first album, the band underwent several lineup changes.
